Concert Star Classical Music Competition 2025

It will be held at Carnegie Hall’s Weil Recital Hall on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, at 7:30 PM.

Application Guideline

Important date

Prescreening Deadline: June 10, 2025, 11:59 PM EST
Prescreening Application Fee: $80
Early Bird Fee (Before May 1, 2025, 11:59 PM EST): $50

Instruments

Solo Instrument Performance: Piano and Strings
Chamber Music: Two or more instruments

Age Divisions:

Division I: 5 – 11 years old
Division II: 12 – 18 years old
Division III: 19 – 26 years old
Division IV: 27+ years old

Repertoire Requirements:

Video Length: 3 or 5 minutes

The video must clearly show the performer’s face and hands, with no edits.
Piano music must be memorized except for contemporary works
No prepared piano pieces will be allowed

Performance Rate:

Three-minute performance: $300
Five-minute performance: $475

Prizes

All Performers (Approx. 20 performers):

1. Certificate and Trophy
2. Two audience tickets for your family and friends
3. $300 Scholarship for a Masterclass at the International Classical Music Alliance
Dates: July 21-27, 2025
Location: Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA, USA

Winners and Grand Prize

Except receiving the prize above

The winner from each Division (4 winners total) will receive:
1. A personal performance video (at least 10 edited, color-enhanced photos by a professional photographer).
2. A short description (two sentences) to be featured in the New York Weekly magazine.


The Grand Prize Winner will receive:
A $500 cash award, in addition to the above prizes.

Important Dates and Information:

1. All applicants who pass the prescreening and receive a performance invitation will perform at Carnegie Hall’s Weil Recital Hall on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, at 7:30 PM.
2. Applicants will be notified on or before June 30, 2025, regarding their invitation.
3. An invitation letter for travel to the United States will be provided for applicants requiring a visa.
